Mad Max: Fury Road

This piece was a submission for "Cinematographics" zine project celebrating the art of film posters. One of my assignments was the 2015 action and adventure film Mad Max: Fury Road.
This artwork was done primarily by collage and subsequently adding texture and details with other mediums, such as chalk pastels and colored pencils.
It was a truly challenging piece, as I wanted to keep as much detail in the machinery of the War Rig as well as in the mechanics of Furiosa's prothetic arm (most of which is covered by the rifle… oh well). I also wanted to juxtapose all that meticulous work with the chaotic nature of the explosion behind both protagonists.
